Just two guys that love knives and also build electronics for a living. Trying to come up with a better method for empirically quantifying sharpness. Combined we have decades of experience in high tech manufacturing and solving engineering problems.

Sharpscore is a way to combine our passion and skills to help other knife enthusiasts test and compare the edges they put on their blades. We hope to grow Sharpscore into a recognizable brand in the knife community 

System

The Sharp Score system is an entirely new way to measure and compare the sharpness of a blade. The system measures cutting force over the entire testing event, not just the peak force. This gives a better picture of how well a blade performs in real world applications.

The ability to sync this data to a smart phone app sets the Sharp Score system appart. If the user choses, they can also upload this information to an online leaderboard for comparison to other blades around the world
